Writer-translator and civil servant, Varsha Tiwary moved towards literature late in life. 1990, Aramganj, was her first book length translation brought out by Eka, Westland in 2024. In the last five years she has published short stories, essays and translations in literary as well as mainstream magazines. A recipient of HWR Emerging Writers Fellowship, 2025, she is currently working on a fiction project.
